one-off circuit signage
Unlike fixed site signage we are able to move one-off signs, even during the course of an event, to ensure the clients objective of maximum television exposure is achieved.
It is important to remember that sizes are different from the normal fixed site annual signage that circuits traditionally offer as one-off signs are
much smaller. The reason for this is that these signs are placed on the grass areas immediately adjacent to the track, much closer to the action and subsequently
closer to the cameras, often located on the apex of corners. It is also vital that the drivers view is not obscured by the signs and that the television pictures are not compromised.
Although the physical dimensions are less than those of fixed site annual signage, the differential is reduced significantly causing the effective on screen size to be similar
(on occasion larger) than those of fixed annual signage.
With the temporary nature of 'One Off' signage flexibility remains throughout the season to offer the client the opportunity to pick and choose which brands they promote
at which event. An important feature not available with fixed annual signage due to high production costs.
This form of 'moveable' circuit signage is primarily utilised by major International motor racing Championships including:
- A1 Grand Prix, World Cup of Motorsport
- Formula One World Championship
- German Touring Car Championship (DTM)
- FIA GT and World Touring Car Championships
- Motorcycle Grand Prix (motogp)
- World Superbike Championship (SBK)
motopro has pioneered the use of this signage technique on a national scale within the UK over the last few years with
the British Touring Car and British Superbike Championships and it is still a unique concept in the UK market.
